Crayon Pop Soyul’s ‘Y-Shirt’ single

On January 8th, Chrome Entertainment group Crayon Pop announced that member Soyul would be releasing her solo debut single “Y-Shirt” on January 12th.

The group revealed that the music video for Soyul’s song will also feature her fellow Crayon Pop members, and released a pair of promotional pictures for the track onto their Twitter account.

The first photo featured Soyul sitting at a desk with a pencil in hand, deep in thought as she stares at her paper. In the second photo, her fellow members can be seen comically dressed as angels, as they stare on – presumably at Soyul. The 4 girls also appear to be peeking out of a small closet.

After the announcement, netizens raved about the picture saying “Crayon Pop’s Soyul’s aegyo is so cute”, “Seeing Crayon Pop’s Soyul I will have to keep my promise”, “Waiting to stream Y-shirt for Crayon Pop’s Soyul”, etc.

Although the track will serve as Soyul’s solo debut and will include a music video, Chrome Entertainment has revealed that she will not be participating in any music promotions, as Crayon Pop is currently also preparing for a group comeback in February with a track by hitmaker Shinsadong Tiger.

Crayon Pop’s new track ‘Y-Shirt’ collaborated with Rainbow Bridge agency which has producers such as Kim Dohoon and Hwang Sungjin will also feature Zan Zan’s Yang Jungmo. It will be released on 12th Jan 2015, Monday at noon through various online music sites.
