    Daebak!!!

Thanks for re-posting this article. This is such a great opportunity for Choa and I was afraid that, because of the comeback, she would choose not to do it or not be allowed to do it and that would be a shame. The double casting is a great idea, this way Choa will get reviews when she plays the part. I have a feeling that she is going to be the perfect Princess Deokhye. This part seems so right for our princess.

      Princess Choa ^^

  • NeonMoon

when Choa first posted the photo of Princess Deokhye…I recalled mentioning so much resemblance between the two..that she should play the role..can not imagine, it’s really happening…hope to see clips and highlights from the musical…

I smell another set of excuses to delay the Crayon Pop comeback. Not saying I’m not thrilled with the opportunities the ladies are getting lately, but this feels familiar…

    • Taylor Simon

Isn’t ChoA and CP activities the main purpose behind the double casting though? If they were going to delay, no need for double casting.

      • tyger11

Look at that schedule – early april to late june. Unless ChoA is the second one to take on the role, and CP promotes afterwards, this means a very short promotion period (almost certainly nothing international). There’s also Soyul attending college (not sure of the scheduling of that).

I’m going to be pessimistic now, so that if it goes well, I’ll be relieved, and I won’t be too disappointed when it’s delayed (again).

Also, money from this is good at a time when Chrome is dropping acts/contracts.

        • Typical promotions are 1 month long. Promotions overseas is never part of the plans for comebacks; it will be separately allocated as Country X promotions.

Considering the other female lead is an established musical actress who was part of the cast in the 2014 run of the same play, it is unlikely Choa will get a huge bulk of the sessions as a rookie.

          • NeonMoon

was the play a success in 2014 run?

          • eric

probably do the matinees and fill for when the main gets tired

        • Taylor Simon

Don’t forget. Way and ChoA are both students, as well. Way is also a student at the same university as Soyul. 🙂

          • To add on, it was mentioned by the twins that they were still going to school during their “Bar Bar Bar” promotional activities back then.

      • NeonMoon

Isn’t the average Kpop promotion span around 45 days cycle??..it’s very possible if CP launches their comeback mid March..debut their new song (internationally) in Texas March 19…Choa appears on the second half of the Musical in mid May…as the fans are starving for CP’s comeback…Chrome should start ramping up the teasers as soon as possible…luv to see 5 million viewers for first week..all kills..a great testament to CP n STiger collaboration..does any one know if the comeback’s going to b a mini or a full album??..hope they include 1234 Korean version, Bbyong song (which was not promoted in Korea), C’mom, C’mon and another Way’s composition…Chrome should have more focus on CP now, since BobGirls disbanded..as a side note: you have to check out K-Much new MV, it’s very good..Chrome also have to put efforts to promote them too..pretty sure Soyul will get an exemption from school during their promotion…

        • Taylor Simon

Music show promotions are typically 4 weeks.
C’mon C’mon will not be on the album. Hey Mister was on the tracklist back in September, because Sony released it. Sony did not release C’mon C’mon.
Edit: Sorry. My computer sent the reply before I was finished.
I have already seen K-much’s new song. I was just ranting on Twitter about how it’s just now on US iTunes after the song’s been out for 10 or so days. I am anticipating their 2nd pre-release to be released March 6th. It’s also a ballad.

        • tyger11

Last I heard, it was shortened to a mini album (probably because the other songs were used for Strawberry Milk). *sigh*

          • Taylor Simon

I am guessing you didn’t see the translation of Way’s chat with fans on Wayland fan café. She mentions that they haven’t decided if it’s a mini or full album yet. http://crayonpop.me/150222-ways-message-on-wayland-cafe-translated/

          • eric

They have not got enough copyrighted new material for a full album. You will get the usual one song, one instrumental.

        • eric

there will be no debut in Texas that is for sure and certain.End of March look for a song promoted in Korea. and 5 million views amounts to $10,000 hardly pays for the video. For success they need people to buy the record not free load on You tube

          • NeonMoon

5 Million views in the FIRST week …only the tip of the iceberg my friend…it’s a benchmark for an all kill…not very many KPOP groups land that kind of numbers..just 5% of those will buy..roughly 250K???..simple math

          • eric

your kidding you would be lucky to get five million views in a month and I doubt you will see sales of 250,000 you only have to go to the Gaon charts and check the figures its all there for every one to see.Wishful dreaming my friend. You have to be a big time act even in the west to pull those type of figures .

          • NeonMoon

Barx3 got over 1.2 million hits (DL); Lonely XMas over 500K ; Uh-ee over 450K**(promotion cut short cuz of Sewol Ferry incident…if they just hit half of BarX3…just over 600K hits and maybe over 15million viewers….of course this does not include album sales, appearances, CFs, concerts, variety shows and parts in dramas….that’s lots of nuggets…cut out the doom n gloom…

  • apieth

    Whatever~
I just hope Crayon Pop can manage their schedule..
hope for full Crayon Pop member during comeback promotion.
When Soyul was sick last year and Crayon Pop perform with only 4 member, my heart ached.
    Don’t want it happened again
    Crayon Pop is Five

  • eric

A sure sign the end is imminent .With Mr Hwang trying to get them into other avenues of entertainment and to pursue their individual interests I would say by the end of this year Crayon Pop may fold. he probably feels an obligation to get the girls gainfully employed .Dont know about Guemmi and Ellin.maybe Ellin will go back to the farm or go back into modelling and Geummi might do some part time acting and continue on with the hair salon. Choa looks set , not sure about Way she could end up writing songs and Soyul starting college is probably going to end up in the music industry as a producer and teacher,

    • NeonMoon

r u trolling??? does not sound like you are a fan of CP..there’s a saying absence makes you grow fonder…you r missing and graving for their comeback even more..CP as a group is profitable now..the members and Chrome realize this and will work their buns off to succeed much more, it’s senseless to stop now…they have just been together for less than 3 yrs..a each member are beginning to prosper..it’s too soon to kill the gravy train…a successful series usually ends 8 or 9 years run (at least 5 yrs.)..until then let’s wish CP the very best on their comebacks!!!!

      • eric

listen pal, I am not a fan boy and say what I think I have all their records so suck it up.I predicted they would be shedding weight last year and now I am saying it will happen again. If you don’t like it too bad .

        • NeonMoon

i not a fanboy myself…why give up a good thing…nothing wrong with each member trying out new avenues living their dreams…you can opine, but we do not need a skeptic, let support and enjoy CP as long their journey lasts….

  • robertrickett

This article has generated a lot of speculation; all very interesting. After reading all these posts I think I’m almost prepared for anything. But remember this is Crayon Pop we are talking about, so be prepared to be surprised.

Wonder if she will be billed as ChoA or Heo
    Min Jin?
